 30 Days 30 Character Designs
Wassup Yall! Today is the first day of a 30 day challenge that many artist's are doing in November including myself and some of my art buddies over at the Art & Story Supreme forums. The challenge, as you may have guessed, is to create a character a day for the month of November. These characters may or may not end up in a published work in the future but besides brainstorming names I plan on using this as simply an excircize to motivate and initiate my future comic book work. Hope you guys enjoy! And if you try to steal my junk I'll come looking for you!!!!!!! ;) Flower Chyld Flower Chyld is one of many among a race of long living people who have a stunted physical growth limited to a infant like appearance yet while accelerated in all other areas of personal growth. Her fighting abilities include accelerated agility, speed and strength with seasoned skills in the martial arts disciplines. Her weapon of choice is large shuriken like throwing flower blades that she throws like boomerangs or uses in hand to hand combat. As a child of the 60's she still clings to her hippie sensabilities with dabbling in eastern religions within her philosophies but mostly settling on a mutated version of these ideas to fit her own personal uses. Flower Chyld tends to gravitate more twards the dark side of the rainbow in her friends and ally's and isnt afraid to get bloody when needed. Personal Ponderings Today when reviewing the parameters of this challenge i was a little worried wether or not i would be able to come up with ideas for every day of this challenge. As i mulled it around in my head concepts and words started coming to me in the shape of character names. As of now i have 7 interesting names written down that i am excited to explore in the coming days and i don't see this trend stopping anytime soon. I also have noticed that as i begin to ponder these characters backgrounds a little bit I can see a whole world forming before my eyes that these characters may be living in!
