What is SHEcember?
The SHEcember art challenge is a similar challenge to inktober except you can do any kind of art any medium. It takes place in the month of December and you can do one piece of art featuring a woman each day of the month . It's meant to be a fun art challenge to get better at drawing women.
Feel free to participate and share your pieces on social media with the hashtags #SHEcember and #SHEcember2018

Customize To Fit You!
There is so many different ways to approach this challenge and there are NO hard and fast rules. Sure the "Official Rules" say to make a drawing and share it every day in December but feel free to customize this challenge to what makes sense for you! Here are some suggestions:
Vacation Method (do art 5 days a week and take the weekends off)
HEcember (Maybe your already great at drawing women and you need work on drawing the dudes. Go ahead and do #HEcember #HEcember2018 instead! Change the "She" prompts to "He" and you're good to go! Feel free to use the SHEcember tags as well if you want to keep it linked with the community)
Ignore the Prompts (create your own prompts or just use the official prompts when you feel like it. Heck do the prompts on different days altogether if you want)
One Week Warrior (Just do a week of studies drawing women to sharpen your skills)
Quick and Dirty (just do some gesture sketches more or less these don't have to be masterpieces)
Choose Your Weapon (feel free to do this challenge in any medium digital, traditional, paintings, drawing or yarn sculptures whatever you like!)
Tree in the Forest (if it falls with nobody around does it make a sound? nope and neither should you if you don't want to. Feel free to use this challenge without sharing it just to get better at drawing women and for your own pleasure)
ONE Day Will Do Ya (inspired but super limited on time resources? Just do it once or a few times and you've officially succeeded in the SHEcember challenge)
Our Hashtag Philosophy!
Everyone is free to participate and share their pieces on social media with the hashtags #SHEcember and #SHEcember2018 But you don't have to. Not everyone likes being super findable on social media and that's totally ok. The whole point of the hashtags is for those who want to be involved in the community and follow the progress of friends to do so with a little more ease. So feel free to leave the hashtags out if that's what you prefer!
And as stated in the previous section feel free to just keep the whole challenge to yourself. You don't even have to share your work if you don't want! The point is that your working on your craft and enjoying yourself!
